Biography
Ann Allen Playsted was born in 1768 in Wadhurst, Sussex, England, the daughter of Philadelphia Taylor Playsted and Henry. She married Humphrey Jeston in 1786 at St. James, Westminster. They had ten children in 15 years. She died on November 26, 1804, in Avon Dassett, Warwickshire, England, at the age of 36, and was buried there.
