She was born in Atlanta, Georgia on July 6, 1968, daughter of Henry C Parkerson and the late Elizabeth Frances Smith Parkerson. She was a graduate of Douglas County High School. She retired from Douglas County School System. She attended Pine Bower Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband Windell D Ploof Jr.;. daughter: Emma Kristine Brooks of Douglasville, GA;. son: William Kolby Brooks, of Bremen, GA;. grandchildren: Aubree Rush, Madison Brooks, William Jayce Brooks;. brother: Kevin Clay Parkerson. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death paternal grandmother: Emma Inez "Nanny" Parkerson. The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Saturday, December 31, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday, January, 3, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. with Reverend Roger Kiser officiating. Interment will follow at Young's Chapel Congregational Methodist Church located at 44 Youngs Chapel Rd, Piedmont, AL 36272, starting at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (Georgia Time). [1]
