Biography
Charles Purnell Parkerson was born in 1878 in New Zealand to Richard Knowles Parkerson and Louisa Augusta (Hornbrook) Parkerson.[1]
He married Adelaide Knolding in 1906.[2]
Parkerson attempted twice to fly solo from England to Australia. In March 1930 he crashed near Melun, France, and in April, 1930 he crashed at Arquel, near Poix, France.
Charles died on Dec 3,1938 and was buried at Hillsborough Cemetery in Hillsborough, Auckland Council, Auckland, New Zealand.
