Biography
Robert was born in 1872. He was the son of Francis Oliver and Flora McKinnon. Robert, son of Francis Oliver & Flora McKinnon, was born on 31 July 1872 in Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.[1]
He appears in the 1891 census as an 18 year old with his parents and siblings.
Robert married Margaret Leitch Russell in 1900 in Calton, Lanarkshire.
The 1911 census has a 37-year old Margaret married to a 38-year old Robert Oliver in Shettleston, Lanarkshire with 4 children:

- James Oliver b. 1903
- Robert Oliver b. 1904
- Annie Oliver b. 1906
Robert died in June 1927 and was buried in Tollcross, Glasgow City, Scotland.[2]
