Biography
Elizabeth (Notman) Walker was born in Scotland.
Elizabeth Craven Notman was baptised in the parish of Larbert on 13 May 1814 and was the daughter of William Notman and Sarah Philp.[1]
Elizabeth married Peter Walker on 9 February 1851 and their son, James, was born four months later.[2]
On the 1851 census, Peter and Elizabeth are living in Blackmill, Stirlingshire, where Peter is an iron moulder. Elizabeth is pregnant with their son who will be born a few weeks later. Three of Elizabeth's brothers are also living with them.[3]
Elizabeth Craven Notman died sometime between April and October 1851 as she was present on the 1851 census, which was taken on 30 March 1851, and Peter married his second wife, Jean Greenaway on 14 October 1851.
