Biography
James was born in 1859. According to the Australia Death Index (at Ancestry.com) he was the son of James Nixon and Jane Craig.
In 1896, he married Isabella Carnegie. [1]
He passed away in 1930. [2]
- NIXON. - On the 30th September, at a private hospital, Elsternwick, James, the beloved husband of Isobel, and loving father of James, Jean (Mrs. T. J. Price) and Eileen; loving grandfather of Joan and Patricia Price, aged 71 years.[3]
He is buried in Brighton cemetery. [4]
