Richard was born in 1829. He was the son of Richard Nisbet and Helen Laidlaw. [1]

Richard Nisbet ploughman Coldstream single age 27 (son of Richard Nisbet ploughman deceased and Helen Laidlaw) married 11 Dec 1857 to Margaret Richardson spinster age 23 (daughter of William Richardson and Christina Middlemiss) [4]
