Bob, I believe I am a descendant of William Richard Whitehurst. I am a participant in the Family Tree yDNA project and it seems to corroborate Rebecca Sanders book, Richard Whitehurst, Grandfather of Us All. Based on the Diane Whitehurst Collins book, The Whitehurst of Princess Anne County, Virginia and Pitt County, North Carolina, I believe my line is William Richard, Richard, Simon, John, John's son, Willoughby, William, Thomas Willoughby, Jesse Radcliffe, and my father, Jesse Radcliff. I'm not sure if my Simon Whitehurst is the Simon that you entered as being born in 1690 in Prince Edward, Virginia, but the time line works. What are your thoughts.
