Biography

Rebecca was born about 1828.

In the 1850 census Rebecca Holdaway (age 24) was with James and E. Newport in District 18, Scott, Tennessee, United States.[1]

In the 1860 census Rebecca (age 33) was in District 9, Scott, Tennessee.[2] In the 1870 census Rebecca (age 41), Keeping House, was in District 9, Scott, Tennessee.[3] In the 1900 census Rebeca (age 72), Midwife, was the widowed mother in law (mother-in-law) of David York in Civil District 10, Scott, Tennessee.[4]

Rebecca died in 1900 and was buried in York Cemetery, Cordell, Scott County, Tennessee, United States.[5]
