Edith was born in 1895. She was the daughter of Samuel Nethers and Nancy Weiss. She passed away about 1973.
Daughter of Samuel Linza and Nancy "Nannie" (Weiss) Nethers.
Born in Washington Township, Licking County, Ohio.
Former school teacher in the Chatham and Lock Schools.
Member of the Eden Church and the Highland Chapter 350 OES.
Survived by her husband, Clarence Ely Atherton; two sons; Lester R. of Winter Haven, Florida and Dale Lee of Cincinnati, Ohio; a daughter, Edith Marie Kasson of Johnstown, Ohio; two brothers, Carey Edward Nethers of Hanover, Ohio and Clarence "Lester" Nethers of St. Louisville; a sister, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Noyes of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Preceded in death by her parents.
