Biography

Janet Mowat was the daughter of Sir John Mowat. ^[1]

She married William Somerville, 1st Lord Somerville,^[1] son of Sir Thomas de Somerville and Janet Stewart, in 1428/29 in a secret marriage, against his parent's wishes. They had issue:^[2]
