Biography
William James MORGAN was born about 1831. The only christening record found of 'William James Morgan' is in 1832 in Brixton, parents James and Elizabeth Morgan [1].
The ship, Koh-I-Noor set sail from London, England via Plymouth on 9 November 1852 with William MORGAN (age 21, seaman) among the passengers and arrived in Hobson's Bay, Colony of Victoria on 12 February 1853[2][3].
Mary Ann WOODLEY and William James MORGAN were married in 1854 in Victoria, Australia[4].
He passed away on 3 November 1892 in Albert Park, Victoria, Australia[5] and was buried at the Melbourne General Cemetery, Carlton North, Melbourne City, Victoria, Australia[6].
MORGAN.—On the 3rd inst., at 141 Montague-street, Albert park, William James Morgan, the dearly beloved husband of Mary Ann Morgan, in his 61st year, mining agent, late of Swanston-street and Temple-court. Ballarat papers please copy.
