John William Morgan married "Ala Emaline Nicholas Morgan" in about 1909 (per 1910 census). John and Ala were married about 56 years prior to Ala's death in 1965.
In 1940s census, highest grade achieved was Elementary school, 3rd grade, age 9 (about 1893).
In the 1900 census John (age 16), Student, was the single son of John Magan in Magisterial District 4, Graves, Kentucky.[1]
