Biography
James Morgan was born after 25 October 1769 in Morgantown, Augusta (later Monongalia) County, Colony of Virginia, son of Zackquill Morgan (1735–1795) and Drusilla Springer (1745–~1796).
James married Dorothy Prickett (born on 15 October 1777 in , Monongalia County, Virginia; daughter of Josiah Prickett and Charity (Taylor) Jolliffe) on 25 March 1792 in Prickett's Creek, Monongalia County, United States of America. Their children were:
