Samuel Morgan Sr was a Virginia colonist.

Samuel Wilson Morgan was born on the 15th of June 1770 in Nottoway, Nottoway County, Virginia. He was the son of John B. Morgan and Amy (Wilson) Morgan.

  • 1830 US Census for Nottoway, Virginia shows the Samuel Wilson household consisting of 1 Male age 65 and over - Samuel Morgan, 2 Females age 65 and over (Lucy Wills Morgan & ?), 2 Male 20-29 (sons Thomas & Samuel, Jr) 1 Male age 5-9 (?) and 58 Slaves. [2]
