Lawrence was born in December 1920 in Zalma, Bollinger County , Missouri. He was the son of Martin Morgan and Sarah Brown.

  • 1940 US Federal Census for St. Francois, Butler, Missouri shows "Eugene" Morgan (age 19) in the household of his parents - Luther and Alta Morgan. [1]
  • 14 Jun 1941 - Lawrence E Morgan enlisted in US Navy; sent to Naval Training Center Great Lakes for Basic Training. Enlisted service no 3376254.
  • 19 Jun 1946 - Lawrence E Morgan was Commissioned as an Officer - Ensign (ENS) in the US Navy Reserve - Line Officer designator 1105, new service no 483636.
  • 5 Jun 1949 - Lawrence E Morgan was promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade (LTJG) in US Naval Reserve. [2] [1]
  • 1 May 1954 - Lawrence E Morgan retired from the US Naval Reserve with the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade (LTJG) [3] [2]
  • Lawrence E. Morgan and Emily A. Petrolonis were married were married on the 7th of May 1955 in Maryland.
  • 26 Sep 1958 - Lawrence and wife Emily purchased a new 2 story brick row house at 4404 Fenor Road in Halethorpe. (Balto Co Deed Liber 3423 page 480)
  • Lawrence passed away on the 10th of May, 1984 in Baltimore, Independent Cities, Maryland. He is buried in the Meadowridge Memorial Park in Elkridge, Howard County, Maryland, USA. [3]
