Elizabeth was born in 1779. She was also known as Betsy.[1]
Baptism: 22 August 1779 Whitchurch, Herefordshire, England, parents John and Elizabeth Morgan
Marriage: 21 July 1801 Whitchurch, Herefordshire to Thomas Daniel: witnesses were John and Elizabeth Morgan.
Family: Of their nine known children, four sons were convicted and transported to Australia, two sons migrated to Australia in 1856, and one son and two daughters died young:

In the 1841 census, Elizabeth was living with her son Edward and his family at Doward in Whitchurch (Edward Daniel age 35+ 'sawer', with Mary 20+, ELIZABETH 60+, Thomas 2, Ruth 5 months).[2]
Death: Elizabeth's death has not been found - she had died by 1856 because In the shipping record of sons Henry and Edward in 1856, they state that both parents are dead.

- Several trees on Ancestry,com have her death in 1881 at Whitchurch, however the burial record for this Elizabeth Daniels has age 75, so it is not her (this death is Elizabeth the wife of son Thomas).
- She has not been found in the 1851 census.
