Ralph Morgan was born in Preston, Connecticut about 1796, son of Bennui Morgan and his first wife Mary (Clark) Morgan.

His siblings were:

Two unknown half-siblings were born of Bennui's second wife, but her name and their names are unknown.

Ralph Morgan married (unknown) at Newark, New Jersey, in 1818, where he settled as a saddler and harness maker, and where he died 3 Jan 1838, but whether he left any children is not known. ^[1]
