Melvin Eugene Montgomery was the son of Kenneth LaVerne Montgomery and Mary Aliene Campton. He was born 19 Jul 1934 in Scottsburg,Scott County, Indiana. He married Bernice Caroline Schepers on 22 May 1954 in Jasper, Dubois County, Indiana. They were the parents of four children. Melvin Eugene Montgomery died 27 May 2001 in Scottsburg, Scott County, Indiana. Bernice Caroline Schepers died 24 Feb 1977 in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky. They are both buried in Scottsburg Cemetery, Scottsburg, Scott County, Indiana.
