Biography
Ida Eileen Frances (Money) Hawkins lived in Rangiora, Canterbury, New Zealand.
Ida Eileen Frances was born 25 December 1910. Her mother was Ida Louie (Money) Stacey (abt.1882-1967), who had left her husband a few months ago. Her registered father's name was Charles. [1]
Her mother would remarry in 1921 to Ernest Edward Stacey. [2]
In 1930, under the surname Stacey, she married Lawrence Donald Hawkins. [3] She passed away in 1950.
They lived at 18 Seddon Street, Rangiora. [4]
She passed away 5 November 1950 after the car in which she was a passenger was struck by a train at the Rangiora High Street crossing. The driver was William Charles Chambers, district superintendent of the Rangiora St. John Ambulance Brigade; and Idea was lady superintendent of the brigade nursing division. [4] [5]
