She was the daughter of William Mole. She passed away in 1955.
Mrs. C. Couture Dies In Hospital In Her 76th Year
A native of Keppel township, who was well-known and highly respected resident of Owen Sound practically all her life, Mrs. Eliza Jane Couture, died in the General and Marine Hospital early Saturday. She was in her 76th year and had been in failing health since September.
Born in Keppel, Mrs. Couture was a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs. William Mole. She was a member of the Alliance Tabernacle.
Mrs. Couture was predeceased by her husband, Charles Couture: two daughters, Doris Wilda and Olive Pearl, and two sisters, Margaret and Elizabeth Mole. Surviving are four daughters. Clara, Mrs. A Thornley of Owen Sound; Bertha, Mrs. W. Morton of Thorold; Irene, Mrs. E. H. Kelly of Dearborn; Viola, Mrs. L. Hawke of St. Catharines; four sons, James, Charles, Wilfred, and Rudolph, all of Owen Sound; two sisters, Clara, Mrs. William Prieste of Wiarton, and Mary-Ellen, Mrs. Robert Kerr of Clavering; five brothers, William Mole of Fruitland, George, James, Edward and Robert Mole, all of Keppel township, and 20 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
