Biography

Charles/Carl Moeller was born 8 Aug 1852[1] in Lubz, Mecklenburg, Germany.[2] Unsourced online family trees show his parents as Johan J. Daniel Christian Moeller (1817–1859) and Anna M. Magdelena Becker (1822-1854), however no evidence for this connection has been found.

He immigrated to the United States in 1855.[3]

Charles married Emma Thiessen on 9 Mar 1878 in Scott County, Iowa.[4] They had children:

  1. Clara E., b. 25 Jan 1880;[5]
  2. Dora M., b. 18 Mar 1882.[6]

Charles died 31 Jul 1946 in Los Angeles County, California.[1]
