The bridegroom, who is the eldest son of the late Mr. A. T. Millar and of Mrs. Millar, of Ripponlea, had Mr. Max Andrewartha as best man, and Mr. Russell Clark and Dr. James Smibert as groomsmen. Messrs. Alan Cooley and Harley Grover were ushers.
After the ceremony a reception and dance were held at Te Whare, where a
marquee erected in the garden, was the setting.
