Hi William, my Millars are from both Antrim and Down. Unfortunately, saying your a Millar from Antrim, is like saying your Jones from Wales, there are thousands of us. William, have you done your YDNA, I've done mine through FTDNA (I'm not plugging them that is just who I've done it through) and they do have a project for the name Miller (they make no differentiation between Miller and Millar) and there is another project called Millers of the British Isles. William, my own haplogroup is there but basically, if you come under the umbrella of Haplogroup R-BY186342, you would be related to me and the sixteen other members of my group, that go back between 300 to 800 years. However, if you didn't, there are plenty of other Millar/ers you might match, who come from Ireland/Ulster/Scotland. Goodluck with your search, always nice to meet another Millar. Cheers.
