Thomas was born in 1866.[1] He was the son of John Millar and Mary (Hudson) Millar.
At the time of the 1881 Scottish Census Thomas, his parents and siblings were living in Banton, Stirlingshire.

At the time of the 1921 Canadian Census, Thomas and wife Margaret are living at 11th Street East, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.[2]
He passed away in July 1941 in Essondale, Coquitlam, British Columbia[3] and is buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Burnaby, Vancouver.[4]
