Biography
Hilda Lucy Metters was born in 1892. [1] She is the daughter of John Thomas Metters and Mary Ann (nee Orr) Metters.
She married Thomas Patrick Thornton in 1913, [2] at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clifton Hill,
"THORNTON-METTERS.-On the 3rd September, 1913, at St. John's Church, Clifton Hill, by the Rev. Fr. Vaughan, Thomas P. Thornton, Maroona, to Hilda Metters, Fairfield." [3]
She died in 1979. [4]
