Stephen was born in 1872. He was the son of William McQuown and Elizabeth Deterick.

He married Hannah Keiner

Their children were:

1. Frank Gordon McQuown;

2. Wesley McQuown, b. April 29, 1899, d. Nv. 1, 1948, never married;

3. Clyde Irvin McQuown, b. March 18, 1900, D. April 15, 1965.

Frank G. [Gordon] MCQUOWN, Son born Sept. 29, 1894, age 6, born in PA and both parents born in PA, attuned school for 8 months; [See 1916 and 1941 Draft Registration Cards.]

William W. [Wesley] MCQUOWN, son born Apr. 22, 1899, age 1, born in PA and both parents born in PA; [See 1918 Draft Registration Card.]
