Biography

Florence McPherson was born in Moose Jaw in 1906. She was the daughter of Findlay McPherson and Esther. She married John Robert Hutton, She married 2) Clifton A. Lett.

Florence Kathleen Lett, died quietly at the Foothills Hospital on Wednesday, August 19, 1992, at the age of 86 years. She is the loving mother of a daughter; Carol Fosdick of California, a son and daughter-in-law, John and Diane Hutton of Calgary. She is lovingly remembered by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Florence is also survived by two older sisters: Esther Christianson of Montreal, Quebec and Sadie Darknell of Montana. She is predeceased by her first husband, John Robert Hutton, second husband, Clifton Armour Lett, and a son, William Findley Hutton.

She was born in Moose Jaw and also resided in Gull Lake and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Later Florence was resident of Ottawa and Calgary. She was a committed Christian throughout her life, and was active in the Knox United Church of Calgary.

Funeral Services will be held at Mclnnis & Holloway's "Chapel of the Bells Funeral Home", on Tuesday, August 25, 1992 with the Rev. Melbourne Halverson of the Lutheran Church of Canada officiating. Interment to follow at Queen's Park. ^[1]
