Jean McEwan was baptized on 17 Apr 1807 in Crieff, Perthshire, daughter of James McEwan and Jean McGregor.^[1]

In the 1841 census Jean, age 31, winder, was in Newqury, Crieff, Perthshire in the household of her mother Jean McGregor.^[2]

Jean married John Martin McNab on 29 Apr 1849 in Crieff, Perthshire.^[3] Their children were:

1. Jean McNab (born 25 Mar 1849)
2. James McNab (born 27 Oct 1850)

In the 1851 census Jane, age 40, was the wife of John Mcnab at 7th House, Crieff, Perthshire.^[4]

Jane died on 24 Jun 1855 in Crieff.^[5]
