Patrick John McDonald was born in Quebec City, Quebec on February 28, 1887. He was the son of John McDonald and his wife Bridget.
At the time of the 1891 Canada Census, John, Bridget, Patrick, and James McDonald were listed as living in Quebec City.[1]
At the time of the 1901 Canada Census, John, Brigitte, Patrick, James, Joseph, William, Mary, and Cécile MacDonald were listed as living in Quebec City.[2] At the time of the census, Patrick's occupation was listed as "Emp Mn Cigarer".
Jack played hockey for the Quebec Crescents, Quebec Bulldogs, Vancouver Millionaires, Toronto Ontarios, Montreal Wanderers, Montreal Canadiens, Quebec Athletic Club, Hamilton Tigers, and Toronto St. Pats. He retired from hockey in 1922.
Jack died on January 24, 1958.
