Biography
Donald McDonald was born in Williamsburg, Canada West in 1863. He was the son of John McDonald and Elizabeth LaPointe. He married Emily Jane McIntosh in Williamsburg, South Dundas in 1886.
Donald passed away in Bingham Canyon, Utah in 1926.
McDONALD - Donald McDonald, native of East Ontario, Canada, and a resident of Salt Lake for the past twenty-five years, died Wednesday at Bingham, following an acute attack of heart disease. Mr. McDonald was 60 years old. He left his home 772 Roberta court, apparently in good health Wednesday morning for his work. He was employed by the Utah Copper company. Surviving are a widow Emma McIntosh McDonald, and the following children: Mrs. R. B. Hutchinson, Fred and Kenneth McDonald, all of Salt of Lake; James McDonald of Los Angeles and Donald McDonald Jr. of Oregon.[1]
