Randal MacDonald was born on 20 August 1769 in Dublin, Tiobraid Árann, Éire, son of Archibald McDonald and his wife Margret.[1]
Randal married Rebekkah Scott (~1772 - ) in 1793 in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Randal's and Rebekkah's children were:

- Robert Bruce MacDonald (~1795 - >1844)
