"Whitey" McDonald was an association football (soccer) player, who began his professional career in Canada.

Robert Logan McDonald was born in Omagh, County Tyrone, Ireland on 11 August 1902.[1]

Whitey moved to Canada with his family, and grew up in Hamilton, Ontario.

Whitey married Maud McFarlane.

Whitey died in Millport, Bute on 7 June 1956, and was buried in Millport Cemetery, Millport, North Ayrshire.[2]
