Biography

William was born in 1895. He was the son of William McAdoo and Sarah Fleming. He passed away in 1960.

Lt US Navy. Son of Presidential Candidate William Gibbs McAdoo. As an ensign, he was designated a Naval Aviator in 1918. He was discharged from active service in 1921 with the rank of Lt JG. During WWII, he saw some action in 1943. He died as a result of head injuries after a fall from a balcony at a nursing home, following partial paralysis.
