John Sandison, resident of Housbery (probably a mistranscription for Houstry) in the parish of Watten, married Christian McAdie, resident of Wester Watten, in Watten, Caithness, on 30 November 1793. Banns were read on 10 November 1793.[1]
Elizabeth Sandison, daughter of John Sandison and Christian McAdie, was born about 1809 and baptised in Watten, Caithness, on 7 July 1809.[2] Place of residence at the time of baptism was "Achanhoy" (likely Achay in the region of Wester Watten and Acharole in the parish of Watten).[3]
