Catharine (McAdie) Clyne is a member of Clan Fergusson.
Katharen McAdie was born about 1793 to David McAdie and Isobel Couper,[1]
Isobel Clyne, daughter of David Clyne and Catharin McAdie, was born about 1823 and baptised in Watten, Caithness, on 21 January 1824.[2] David and Catherine were living in Toftingall, in the parish of Watten, Caithness, at the time of her birth.[3]
In 1841 David Clyne was a farmer in "Tows" in the parish of Olrig, Caithness. Catherine was living with him at this time alongside their children Christina, Alexander and David.[4]

Points for Further Research
A number of McAdie families were living in Toftingall around the same time as David Clyne and Catharin McAdie had their first child. This would suggest that Catharin was related to them. The relevant profiles include (but not exclusively) George McAdie and James McAdie.
