These records show that Donald was widowed in 1851 thus Margaret was deceased by this time. The youngest child is recorded as 10 months.

Margaret was named as the mother of George Waters in his 1850 baptism record. She is not recorded as living with her family on the 1851 Scotland Census and Donald is recorded as widowed, so she had clearly died by this time. (edit 28 Oct 2020).
