• Emily married Hugh John Hill on 13 Jul 1883 at Saintfield, Lisburn, Co. Down, Ireland^[1].
• Hugh and Emily had three children: John Francis Hill (b. 1884), Robert Malcolm Hill (b. 1889), William Thomas Hill (b. 1891).
• In the 1901 Ireland census, Emily was age 46 living at Drumanaway with her husband Hugh Hill (53), sons Jno Francis Hill (16), Robt M Hill (11), Wm Thos Hill (9). Also domestic servant Anny Kenny (21)^[2].
