George MacAdie was born about 1730 in Watten, Caithness, Scotland.
George married Margaret Cottar (~1725 - >1761) on 30 December 1756 in Watten, Caithness.[1]
The entry reads:
[8th?] Dec 1756 George McAdie in Scarmclatt (could possibly be Scouthel, but I think Scarmclatt is the more likely interpretation of the squiggles given baptism of son Donald), and Margaret Cottar in Flex were contracted in order to marriage and after ordinary proclamations and no objections offered their marriage was solemnized Dec 30 1756
