Dolina Sinclair was born on 30 October 1870 in Pulteneytown, Wick, Caithness, Scotland. She was the daughter of George MacAdie and Elizabeth Sandison Bremner. Dist 43 #351^[1][2][3]

In the 1881 census Dolina (age 10), Scholar, was the daughter of George Macadie in Hillhead, Wick, Caithness.^[4]
