Brig-Gen. Malcolm Orme Little (born Malcolm Robert Little) (1858-1931), the son of Archibald Little and Jane Orme, was born in 1857 at London, England, United Kingdom.
He gained the rank of Major with the 9th Lancers in March 1900, promoted to Lt.-Col. in 1904.
He served in the Second Anglo-Afghan War for which he received the medal with two clasps and the bronze star. In the South African War he was mentioned in despatches (MiD) three times.
He commanded a Yeomanry brigade in the First World War.
