William Alfred Lindsay-Stewart (1892-1916) was the son of William Lindsay Stewart and Harriet Ann Gregory.

Capt. William Alfred Lindsay Stewart, Grenadier Guards
For conspicuous gallantry in action. He led his company with great skill and determination to an advanced position, which he held without support against repeated.attacks, until relieved.
He died age ~ 24 on the 25th of September 1916 (KiA) on the Somme, France and was buried at the Guards Cemetry, Lesboeufs, France.
