Biography

Alfred James "Bub" Leishman was born in 1914 in Kingston, Victoria, Australia, the son of Jessie Alberta (Troup) Leishman and Alfred Thompson Leishman.^[1]

He married Lindsey Olive Mitchell in 1940^[2] and served as a gunner in WWII, enlisting 18 Jun 1940 in Caulfield, Vic and discharged 25 Oct 1943^[3].

Alfred died on 6 February 1977 in Kingston, aged 62 years.^{[4] [5]}
