Hi Joan, How did you decide that Sarah's birthday was in 1805? Her husband, Augustus was born in 1777. His marriage to Sarah, was his second marriage. He had at least 5 children in his first relationship with a woman named Deborah. The information I have shows that Sarah was born about 1793 in Newcastle, Staffordshire, England.

Thank you for your message. As a matter of fact I have been researching Sarah and her husband. I recently found some court documents in Mecklenburg, NC 1829 that mention Sarah and husband as part of the heirs to my 5th g'grandfather Joseph Wilson who died in Burke Co., NC. in 1810. My Father's family came to Canada in the late 1800's, and my Mother's family arrived in the first decade of the 1900's. I have done a fair amount of research into German families that settled in Volhynia in the mid- 1800's then emigrated to Canada later that same century. I have looked over a lot of Canadian Census records and local history books to find more info on my extended family, and I inherited a few local history books covering areas North of Edmonton. Genealogy seems to me like a giant jigsaw puzzle that can never be fully solved, but it is fun to work on it.
