Biography
Rémi Landry is a descendant of an Acadian
Rémi was born about 1791. He was the son of Amand Landry and Anne Melanson. He married Geneviève VIENNEAU (François & Marie-Cécile Cormier) in Memramcook on 2 Oct 1810. He was interred in Cap-Pelé on 17 May 1877.[1]
Research note
Stephen White states that the date for the birth of Rémi on 12 March 1791 comes from notes taken by Placide Gaudet. The website "Genealogy of My Acadian Family" referenced below states that his birth is on 12 March 1790. Further research is needed to determine the exact year of his birth.
