Biography

I asked a question about Hester Ann Brewer (married to Bradley B. Brady) in regards to her mohter. There are many people on the internet that have in their family trees, Rebbecca Narcises as being Hester Ann's mother. and they say Chief Oconastato is her father. I cannot find any confirmation on this and I am wondering where they got their information from. I would love to be able to prove Rebecca is her mother and Rebecca is the daughter of Chief Oconostata so I can document it in my family tree. I don't want to add anything just becuase I saw it on the internet without proof. I wiould like you to give me an invitation if you wouldn't mind so I can continue to pursue the information on this site. Maybe someone will have the proof I am looking for. I have been trying to prove my Cherokee heritage for years. My grandmother passed away many years ago and her memory wasn't the greatest, so she couldn't remember the connection. Most people in my dad's side of the family thought it was our grandmohter who was the Cherokee descendant, but it was actually our grandfather's side of the family. His grandmohter was Hester Ann Brewer. Hester and Bradley had a daughter named Winifred C. Brady and she married my great grandfather, Robert Warren Kidd. They had a son, my grandfather, Cephus Newby Kidd. Cephus married Josephine Lola Sheffield. I have so many names that I can document but Hester's parents is not one of them. If you know anything about this, I wiould greatly appreicate it. Sandra Kidd I am not worried if anyone wants to know hwat I have in my tree. It is on Ancestry.com but it is expensive on there and I may not renew. Since this place is free, it woiuld be a great souce for information. Thanks for reading my message. Sandra
