Biography
James Kay was born on 6 Oct 1676, and was baptised at Bury, Lancashire, one week later. His father was Richard Kay. James Kay married Elizabeth Appleton at Manchester Cathedral, Lancashire, on 26 Sep 1693. Their son John Kay was baptised at Bolton-le-Moors, St Peter, Lancashire, in 1695. James Kay was buried at Bolton-le-Moors, St Peter, on 19 Aug 1697.
