Isabella Kay was born on May 27, 1805, in Chillingham, Northumberland, England, her father, William Joseph Kay, was 25, and her mother, Isabella Marshall, was 30. She married Henry Patterson Craig(s) on May 17, 1837, in Northumberland, England. They had four children during their marriage. She died on March 13, 1881, in Harvey, New Brunswick, Canada, having lived a long life of 75 years

LDS film #87986 - Wooler West Chapel: “Isabella Kay daughter of William Kay and Isabella his wife of the parish of Chillingham in the County of Northumberland (born at Chillingham on the 27th day of May 1805) was baptized on the 3rd of June 1805 by me, James Kennedy Protestant Dissenting Minister.”

From The New Brunswick Reporter and Fredericton Advertiser, 23 Mar 1881, p. 3: At Harvey, York Co., on the 13th inst., after a protracted illness, Isabella, wife of Henry Craigs, aged 75 years and 10 months, leaving a husband, 2 sons and 15 grandchildren to mourn the loss of a tender, loving mother. Her end was peace. The deceased was a native of Wooler, Northumberland, England; sailed from Berwick-on-Tweed on May 1837, arrived at Fredericton in July and was located in company with the other emigrants under the auspices of Sir John Harvey.^[3]
