Biography
Bertha A. Joyce was born in 1881, the daughter of Joseph and Emma Joyce. Very little is known about Bertha.
She married Garry W. Reynolds on January 12, 1904. He was the son of William and Josephine (Wagoner) Reynolds of Ithaca, New York. [1]
In 1920, Garry and Bertha were in Ithaca in the household of her mother, Emma White, at 410 W. Seneca Street. Bertha’s sisters, Frances and Susie Joyce, were also in the home and working in a Dry Goods Store.
Garry died October 24, 1952 in Ithaca, New York. Bertha Reynolds died in 1960 and is buried next to Garry in the Joyce family plot in Evergreen Cemetery, Spencer, Tioga County, New York. [2]
