Ralph engaged in farming in Indiana.
Ralph Y. Jones was a farmer, and construction worker. Prior to World War II, he studied Civil Engineering at Purdue University. He did not return to school after the war.

Ralph was born in 1918, in Liberty Township, Shelby County, Indiana. He passed away in 2016, in Liberty Township, Shelby County, Indiana. Ralph is buried at Van Pelt Cemetery, Shelby County, Indiana. [1][2][3]
On April 24, 1949, Ralph Y Jones married Alliene Evelyn (Gahimer) Ward in Shelby County, Indiana. [4] The actual date of their marriage was a household controversy. One said it was April 24 and the other said it was April 25. The marriage license was issued on April 19, 1949. I believe they were marriage at the Methodist Church in Waldron.
